About Charlie
Based in the city centre of Manchester, I am a 25-year-old student currently studying for my PhD in developmental biology. I currently have availability for lessons on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 6pm. I have previous experience as an academic tutor to students aged 8-16, and experience working with young people through various roles with The Scout Association. I hold a first-class integrated master's degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Nottingham, where I studied core elements from Biology, Physics & Mathematics. I am offering in-person or online tutoring services to students aged 8-18 who require additional help to supplement their school learning. Subjects Taught: Biology, Physics, Combined Science and French to GCSE Mathematics to A-Level Teaching Style: No two children learn the same way, and that's why I adapt my tutoring style to best suit your child. Lesson Length: I offer 60- or 90-minute lessons, though specific needs and alternative arrangements can be discussed if necessary. Lessons are charged from £25ph, depending on the stage of education.

I offer the following rates, based on student age: Mathematics, biology, physics, combined science & French: Years 3-6 (KS2): 1hr = £25; 90mins = £37.50 Years 7-9 (KS3): 1hr = £30; 90mins = £45 Years 10-11 (GCSE): 1hr = £35; 90mins = £52.50 Mathematics only: Years 12-13 (A-Level): 1hr = £45ph; 90mins = £67.50
