About Devansh

I have been a sports enthusiast all my life. Currently pursuing PG Diploma course in sports coaching (badminton) from Sports University of Haryana (Sonipat)2024-25.Completed 6 Weeks Certificate Course in Sports Coaching (Badminton) from LNIPE, Gwalior. Completed BWF Shuttle Time Certificate for badminton coaching.Did my graduation in Geography (hons) from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College. Played various clusters, state level tournaments and school level tournament Received initial training from Sirifort sports complex located in Delhi. Looking forward to help others in improving their badminton skills.

About the lesson

The class is open for all age groups be it students, adults all types of budding players are invited to learn. More than happy to impart knowledge and skills of badminton that I learned across the years. The training will be specialized according to the individuals.

Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
Badminton is the fastest racket sport. It's a popular game in the Asian continent some people play it professionally and some for fitness as it requires movement of the whole body and great hand-eye coordination.
I developed an interest in the sport of badminton when I was around 13-14 when I went to watch Indian open matches and after that, I represented my school team in various competitions.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
My love for the sport of badminton motivates me to teach it and also I enjoy teaching students as I want to impart my learning and knowledge about the sport to the students and improve their skill set.
How does your work help society?
In certain ways, I am helping my learners to become fitter by playing the sport. They enjoy playing the sport which also gives them a stressbuster in life.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
I am a big fan of China's Legendary player Lin Dan as he used to make the sport look very easy and I use to love his unpredictability and style of play.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
Some of the things I like to do are listening to music, traveling, avid follower of financial markets.
