About Sam

My 8+ years of experience as a high school classroom instructor has allowed me to master teaching strategies that resonate with all sorts of students of varying strengths and personalities. I am relatable and easygoing, but also set clear expectations and push students to meet them. I am confident all students can succeed at all levels of math, given they are willing to give it a sincere effort and their instructor addresses their learning process in a way that works for them.

About the lesson

My instruction is centered on deep knowledge. It begins by covering the prerequisites necessary for mastering content, filling any gaps that may exist, understanding the current content, then practicing and solidifying processes and strategies.

For those who have solid foundations, new concepts typically develop quickly, while those lacking those foundations may take more time but will end with deep understanding and long-term tools for success.
