About Lynn

I have always been fascinated by the natural world and passionate about understanding how life works, especially through biology. What I enjoy most today is helping students build confidence in science and showing them that biology does not have to feel overwhelming or intimidating.

I hold a PhD in Molecular Biology (Immunology) and have spent 8 years tutoring and training young scientists and working as a science communicator. My work has taken me to many different places, projects, and events, where I have had the opportunity to meet incredible people and collect inspiring stories from the world of science. I love bringing those real-life experiences into my lessons to make biology feel more alive, relatable, and exciting.

Throughout my teaching experience, I have learned that every student learns differently, which is why I take a patient, supportive, and highly personalized approach to teaching. Whether you need support with school biology, exam preparation, or university-level concepts, my goal is always to create a calm and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their abilities.

About the lesson

I have been passionate about science, especially biology, since I was a child, and that passion is still what I aim to share and inspire through my lessons today. I hold a PhD in Immunology and have more than 8 years of experience as a science communicator, trainer, and educator.
My teaching approach is highly personalized and adapted to each student’s needs, goals, and learning style. Whether we are working through complex biology concepts to make them easier to understand, improving study techniques, or preparing intensively for exams, I tailor every lesson using strategies that best support the student’s progress and confidence.
I focus on creating engaging, interactive, and supportive lessons where students are encouraged to ask questions and truly understand the “why” behind biological concepts rather than simply memorizing information. My background in science communication helps me explain difficult topics in a clear and accessible way.
I usually recommend lessons of up to 2 hours maximum to maintain focus, concentration and effective learning.
