About Nakia
I am a professional dancer. I specialize in ballet, contemporary, jazz, and modern (Horton) technique. I love to teach any age group and to create choreography that highlights each persons gifts. My goal is to help those that really desire to learn whether its just for fun or a career aspiration. I was once in your shoes and want to do exactly what my teachers inspired in me by giving them the tools to grow in their craft.

I have experience teaching ages 4 to adults. Depending on technique level I will customize the lessons. We use fun games, stickers, and visual cues to help them understand. For choreography I challenge my students but also highlight their strengths.
