Hi there! I’m an experienced tutor offering math tutoring for students in Years 5 to 10. I love tutoring because it energizes me, and I enjoy sharing the tips and strategies I’ve gathered over the years as a student myself to help others learn, grow, and improve. I provide tailored notes based on each student’s chosen topics, along with homework and tests to track their progress.

Hi! I'm Sophie and I graduated from The Mac.Robertson Girls’ High School in 2018 with an ATAR of 98.80 and completed a Bachelor of Commerce and Computer Science (High Distinction) at Monash University in 2024. With over 3 years (300+ hours) of tutoring experience, I’ve worked with students from primary school to year 12, tailoring every lesson to their pace and goals. This year, I’m offering tutoring in Math. I have a set curriculum for every year level from year 5 to year 10 and tailor my teaching to each individual student so that they come out of each lesson with something new learned each time. Depending on students' preferences, we can: • Cover topics students are currently going through at school • Teach more advanced topics so students can be ahead • Teach topics students are struggling with and want to improve on Additionally, I: • Can speak in English, Chinese Cantonese, Chinese Mandarin in lessons to parents and students • Provide tailored notes to my students RATES: • 1:1 Tutoring: $60/hour or $80 for 1.5 hours • Group Classes (2–4 students): $35 per person/hour • Group and longer classes (1.5 hours) include tailored notes curated for each student, along with quizzes, tests, and homework questions based on the topic we are covering LOCATION: I tutor in-person in Mitcham, or nearby suburbs such as Box Hill, Glen Waverley (happy to discuss and commute to other locations), or online from anywhere!
