About Advait
Hey! I’m a recent IB graduate and I’m currently taking a gap semester before starting university. I’ve always enjoyed English, especially analyzing texts and figuring out how writers use language to communicate different ideas.
Since I’ve just finished the IB, I know what it’s actually like to prepare for English exams, write essays under time pressure, and stare at a question thinking “what am I even supposed to write here?”
I have also recently given the IELTS academic exam and scored an 8.5 and can tutor you for that as well!

Hi! I’m a recent IB graduate and I mainly help IB English Language & Literature students with essays, analysis, and exam preparation.
I’ll mainly review your essays and show you where you can improve, how to make your analysis stronger, and how to structure your answers more effectively. I can also give you sample essays on the same questions so you can see what a stronger response could look like, as well as work through past papers with you.
I don’t want lessons to just be me talking for an hour, so in the first trial lesson I’d like to understand what you’re struggling with, look at your current work, and figure out your main weaknesses. From there, we can structure our lessons around exactly what you need help with.
Whether you’re struggling with Paper 1, Paper 2, essay writing, analysis, or just want someone to look over your work and tell you how to improve, I’m happy to help!
