About Vita
"I have taught 160 students how to balance structure with creative intuition. My BMus Composition degree from the University of Melbourne is a TOOL for your progress.
I spent 8 years making music to learn that the best songs come from a mix of honesty and discipline. Complete beginners and adult learners often find that I favor clarity over abstract theory.
I treat every session as a collaborative space for your IDEAS. My narrative as a musician is simple, as I still love the moment a song finishes.
Intermediate producers often come to me to fix their lyrics or bridge the gap between their demos and final versions. I promise to keep our work focused on the sounds you actually care about. You will find that I am here to help you get the words right."

"Many writers believe that constraints kill creativity, but I find that specific rhyme schemes actually set you free. Using my BMus background, I show you how to build dynamics across a song by controlling your melodic phrasing. It is a technical approach to an emotional task. We look at title development and genre conventions for folk, pop, or R&B.
You will learn to write over chords while keeping your demoing process efficient. It is just about getting the song finished."
