Hi there! I'm Lyndale, a Licensed Civil Engineer with a Master's degree in Construction Project Management (with Distinction) from Massey University. For over seven years, I've been immersed in the dynamic world of civil infrastructure, leading and contributing to significant construction projects. This hands-on experience has not only honed my technical expertise in areas like structural analysis, project planning, and cost control, but it's also given me a deep, practical understanding of how math and physics principles apply in the real world. My passion for teaching was ignited during my time as a Part-time Professor at a College of Engineering, where I guided university students through complex subjects like Mechanics of Deformable Bodies. This experience taught me how to break down challenging concepts into clear, understandable lessons, tailoring my approach to each student's unique needs. About the lesson

I believe that true understanding in math and physics comes from active engagement and a strong grasp of fundamental concepts. My tutoring approach is highly personalized, focusing on building confidence and clarifying areas where students struggle.

For optimal focus and retention, my typical lesson length is 60-90 minutes. This allows enough time to introduce new concepts, work through examples, and practice, without causing fatigue. For younger students or those with specific needs, shorter, more frequent sessions can also be arranged.

My qualifications for tutoring in math and physics are extensive, stemming from both academic rigor and practical application. I hold a master's degree in construction project management (with Distinction) and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both of which required strong analytical and mathematical skills. As a Licensed Civil Engineer in the Philippines, I've applied scientific and mathematical principles daily in my professional roles. My experience as a Part-time Professor in a College of Engineering further refined my ability to clearly explain complex scientific concepts to diverse learners, from fundamental mechanics to advanced project management scenarios.

My lessons cater to all levels of high school and university students in Mathematics and Physics. This includes high school students (NCEA Levels 1-3, Cambridge, IB) aiming to improve grades or prepare for exams, and university students (undergraduate Engineering, Science, Commerce) needing support with courses like Calculus, Linear Algebra, Mechanics, or specialized modules within Civil Engineering and Construction Project Management. I also welcome adult learners and professionals looking to refresh their knowledge or prepare for professional exams.
