About Amelia
I am a third year economics student at the LSE, with an enthusiasm for maths and plenty of experience with online tutoring. My focus is on creating an interactive approach to teaching to ensure lessons are always engaging and helpful.

I take a guided approach, tailoring each lesson to the specific needs and requests of the individual. Each lesson typically begins with an explanation using relatable examples and is followed with a demonstration of the methods required. I then guide students through practice questions making sure to identify areas of difficulty, to focus further explanation and ensure understanding of the topic. Typically, each lesson lasts for 1 hour, but shorter or longer lessons are available.
I have a great understanding of the maths curriculum and have achieved A* in both maths and further maths A-level as well as a grade 9 at GCSE.
