About Arunoshi
I am a social sciences student studying my MSc in International Migration and Public Policy at the LSE. I graduated in June 2020 from the University of Toronto with a 2:1 Hon. Bachelor of Arts majoring in International Relations. Prior to that, I graduated high school with honours and my International Baccalaureate Diploma. I have been giving private tutoring lessons intermittently since I was 14 years old and have helped several students improve at least a letter grade in their English and Maths skills. Currently, I am working with LSE in the Widening Participation program teaching KS4 Higher Maths to high-potential students from disadvantaged areas.
Additionally, I have experience working in summer camp settings with special needs students during which I learned valuable communication skills and innovative student engagement techniques.

My teaching method centers on the student's needs above all. I bring enthusiasm, compassion, and understanding to my approach to teaching to ensure the student feels well-supported. I do my best to connect with my students so that we can build a comfortable rapport that is conducive to their learning process. I work with pupils to set goals that are both attainable and challenging. My past students can attest to my attention to pace and engaging style.
