About Syan
I am an LSE Law graduate with experience working with young people for over 4 years in a variety of settings and institutions (schools and youth clubs). I was also the director of a company 2 years, a charity that engaged in outreach work with vulnerable young people. I have taught, supported and guided over 500 young people in the past 4 years.

My teaching method works by breaking down the curriculum and finding what the true intention behind each topic is. The ability to break this down will increase in difficulty when reaching degree level but this then takes a more refined and digestible approach. Once finding the core meaning of a topic I then encourage the student to debate on the matter. Pushing young people to develop an opinion on the given subject. Reinforcing and developing this opinion pushes the student to think deeper than the curriculum .and also supports the retention of knowledge. I encourage students to think politically about their subject rather than just seeing studying as simply memorising information
