About Isabella
Hi, my name is Isabella. I’m a university student at the London School of Economics. English literature and language have always been my most fascinating and engaging subjects which I have consistently received A*’s for. This was a result of my chosen study methods and further ensuring that I played to my strengths when studying. Whilst I have my own techniques I teach, I also prioritise the students way of thinking so as to ensure my lessons are thought provoking and fun. These lessons are a collaboration so as to truly make the most of our time. I adore helping students see the interest and thought processes used in the study of English and can’t wait to hopefully work with you!

- My typical sessions range from 45 minutes to 2 hours depending on what works best for the student. I always create an environment where the student can share how long their attention span is so as to make the most of our classes.
- I constantly work with the student and re-assess my lesson plans to ensure they are engaging and further more likely to be helpful for them. To do this, every month I ensure to have a conversation with the student asking for feedback to help curate lesson plans specifically for them. I also always encourage students to communicate with me on what works for them.
- I use a lot of visual learning through mind maps, brain dumps and quote explosions
- Active recall is one of the most successful tools which I use, this is executed through at the end of each sessions brain dumping what was learn that day. These are not exams and are low stress so as to have a healthy relationship with studying.
- I am a university student at the London school of Economics and Political Science studying Social Anthropology. I have received an A* for English literature at A-levels and 9’s at GCSE so am well versed in studying for these particular exams.
- I also will guide students through practice questions and paragraphs for exam prep.
