About Aarnav
Hi, I'm Aarnav, and I live between London and Mumbai.
I trained as a lawyer and then as a barrister, but honestly, the things that always pulled at me most weren't just the legal ones. It was the language and literature hidden beneath each word, the history behind how societies end up the way they are, the political ideas people care enough to actually argue about, and the philosophy sitting underneath all of it.
So that's what I teach: English, history, politics, and philosophy, but really as one big conversation!
I've taught in a few different settings, as a teaching assistant during my own legal studies, coaching public speaking and debate, and running a week of rhetoric classes at a school in Indore. And across all of it, the part I've loved most is watching someone go from unsure to genuinely getting it, that moment when an idea finally clicks.

I use the Socratic method of teaching: each lesson is crafted around the needs of that particular educational cadre. I teach everywhere from school-going students to university and to adults learning something new every day!
I speak several languages and have a knack to bridge gaps when I teach: each word speaks to me and I teach it thus. I am also an assiduous exam taker and can train you on how to increase your marks. There is nothing like a usual class: each class is catered to you -the student. Join in, and see :)
