About Anthony
Hey folks, my name is Ant and I am a paramedic turned medical student!
Practicing as a registered paramedic for the London Ambulance Service I mentored many students. Some were in the final placement of their final year and rearing to go, whiles others were quaking in their boots on their very first day!
It was during this time that I found a passion for the field of education, specifically in helping mentees understand the wonderful topics of anatomy, physiology, pathology and pharmacology, and how to apply them in the field.
I have followed this passion into both online private tutoring and medical school, where I am undertaking the Doctor of Medicine at Melbourne University, the number one medical school in Australia!
I include this last fact not to gloat, but to encourage. I was never academic growing up, always opting for a surfboard over a textbook or a hike over a lecture, but here I have found my passion and it really is something that I work incredibly hard at and love to share whenever I get the chance.
So, let me share my passion with you!
I very much look forward to meeting you.
Warmest regards,
Ant

My teaching method has one goal: to make YOU the teacher.
By the end of each session (1-2 hours), you will be comfortable with 1. explaining any concept to a fellow student, mentor or examiner
2. putting your learning into practice out on the road
I use the most engaging and enjoyable technique relevant to the topic. This not only makes education fun and ‘moreish’, but also encodes the information far more strongly in your mind, making it easier to recall for exams and for utilisation in the field.
I practiced for three years in London, registered as a clinician and student mentor, before returning to Australia to commence the Doctor of Medicine at Melbourne University.
This means that a) I know what you need to know, b) I have experience in facilitating this learning in a highly enjoyable way and c) I can take it (and you!) to the next level.
