About Laura

Hi everyone! My name is Laura and I'm a Fine Art student living in London. English is my mother tongue (along with Spanish and Portuguese), and I've always done everything in English in my social and academic life. I've studied High Level English Language and Literature on the International Baccalaureate (IB), and I'm currently writing an anthology as well as a novel in English.

I love to teach - in fact, I've helped tutor many children and adults free of charge. It would be my pleasure to meet you and to be able to accommodate your English-speaking needs!

About the lesson

My teaching method is very flexible; it depends on the type of student I'm working with. Above all, it depends on how my student likes to learn, what their strengths and weaknesses are, and what would help them the most, in the most efficient way.

I like to teach individually since I believe that this gives students more attention - that way, I can adapt the way I teach in order to satisfy each student's specific requests. If my student would like to write an academic text, a creative work, go over their homework or exams or simply to have a "base" in English which allows them to have a conversation, I'm always willing to help and give it my all.
