About Samundra
Hi, I'm Samundra. I have a BSc (Hons) in Computing Systems from Ulster University in London, and before that I completed Level 3 Physical Science in Nepal. Maths has always been my strongest subject and I used it throughout my degree.
I am patient, friendly and easy to talk to. I know maths can feel stressful, so I keep lessons calm and make sure students feel comfortable asking any question, even the small ones.
I speak English, Nepali and Hindi. My aim is simple: help each student understand the topic properly, build their confidence and improve their marks.

My lessons are for students in Years 7 to 11 who want to improve their maths, from KS3 topics through to GCSE.
In the first lesson, I check what the student already knows and where they are stuck. After that, each lesson follows a simple plan: a short recap of the last topic, a clear step-by-step explanation of the new topic, then practice questions that we work through together. For GCSE students, I also use past exam questions so they get used to the exam style.
If a method does not make sense, I explain it in a different way until it does. Lessons are online, and I can also explain in Nepali or Hindi if that helps the student.
