About Ousoud

Hello, I am a logic teacher, a researcher in the field of philosophy, and a writer in the field. I would be happy to teach you logic and logical systems and to study some books. I have modest experience in the field of up to five years of experience

About the lesson

As a Logic teacher, I combine clarity, engagement, and rigor to guide students through the principles of critical thinking and structured reasoning. My teaching style is student-centered, focusing on building understanding through real-life analogies, interactive questioning, and gradual abstraction. I emphasize not just theoretical knowledge, but also the practical application of logic in argumentation, decision-making, and academic writing.

Teaching Techniques & Methods
I use a variety of teaching methods, including:

Socratic questioning to stimulate deep thinking

Visual aids such as Venn diagrams and truth tables

Collaborative problem-solving activities

Digital tools (interactive quizzes, logic puzzles, etc.)

Step-by-step modeling followed by guided practice

Sample Lesson Plan (Introduction to Deductive Reasoning)

Objective: Students will distinguish between valid and invalid arguments.

Warm-up (5 mins): A simple riddle or logical puzzle to activate prior thinking.

Concept Introduction (15 mins): Define deductive reasoning, show examples, use truth tables.

Guided Practice (20 mins): Analyze arguments as a class and discuss their validity.

Group Activity (15 mins): Students work in pairs to identify fallacies or strengthen weak arguments.
