About Catherine
I am a graduate student in the sciences, and very devoted to communication as an art form. I can help you get that intuitive sense of what is grammatically correct, or help you learn rules if that works better instead. I have been teaching for three years, and value you as a person more than as a student - we'll make sure you're comfortable with everything you're learning, and will go at whatever pace you would like.

I have been interested in English as a subject my whole life, and I've always been good at it, with a natural knack for "what sounds right." I currently copy edit for two scientists and an author, and have helped countless people by reading over essays and other such things. I got AP credit for both Lang and Lit, and got a 36 in both the grammar and reading portions of the ACT. I also speak some Spanish, and can help ESL speakers.
