About Gabriella

I am a passionate and results-driven tutor with an LLB, LPC, and MSc in Law & Business Management. Since the age of 19, I have been dedicated to helping students succeed, with many of my learners gaining entry into top boarding schools and achieving excellent academic careers. My lessons are designed to be engaging, personalised, and focused on both exam success and long-term confidence. Whether preparing for the 11+ or GCSE English, I provide proven strategies, clear explanations, and tailored support that unlocks each student’s potential

About the lesson

I have been tutoring since the age of 19, helping students gain entry into top boarding schools and supporting them in achieving fantastic academic careers. With an LLB, LPC and MSc in Law & Business Management, I bring both academic expertise and proven experience to every lesson. My tutoring is aimed at 11+ and GCSE English students (ages 10–16), whether the goal is exam success, stronger writing skills, or greater confidence in communication. I believe learning is most effective when lessons are personalised, structured, and interactive. I begin by assessing each student’s strengths and areas for improvement, then create a tailored plan that builds knowledge step by step. My teaching techniques include: - Breaking down complex topics into clear, manageable explanations. - Active learning methods, such as asking questions, encouraging discussion, and using examples from everyday life. - Exam-focused preparation, working through past papers, timed practice, and teaching students how to structure answers for top marks. - Feedback-driven learning, where I review written work in detail, highlight progress, and give practical steps for improvement. - Confidence building, by celebrating small wins and encouraging students to develop their own voice in writing and analysis. Lessons usually last 60 minutes, though I also offer longer sessions before exams to ensure students feel fully prepared.
