About Shannon

I am an LLB graduate from The London School of Economics with 7 years of tutoring experience and a proven track record of helping students succeed. My teaching is driven by a genuine love for the law and a passion for empowering students to reach their potential. My Background: I graduated with an Upper Second Class Honours from LSE Law. I completed two dissertations during my studies. I have worked as a Paralegal, secured a Training Contract with Clyde & Co, and founded a mentoring initiative for aspiring lawyers from diverse backgrounds. I have been tutoring for 7 years, and it is my genuine passion. I am an internationally qualified ESL teacher (Level 5 Cert TESOL and Level 3 TEFL) who has taught in private boarding schools in China. I am also Youth Mental Health First Aid qualified.

About the lesson

My Teaching Style: - My teaching style focuses on building your confidence, sharing efficient study and revision strategies, and equipping you with practical, actionable advice drawn from my own legal journey. - I am friendly, empathetic and patient. I aim to be your mentor, as well as your tutor, and to support you academically, professionally, and personally. - I have experience supporting SEN students and, being neurodiverse myself, I understand the importance of tailored approaches. How I Can Help You: - Law Studies: LLB modules, essay writing, exam preparation, and efficient revision strategies. - Study Skills: note-making techniques, time management, and achieving your target grades. - Careers in Law: guidance on training contracts, vacation schemes, CVs, applications, and interviews. - Mentoring: long-term support to help you grow in confidence and direction.
