About Ms
I aspire to equip as many people with the foundational language skills so that they can express themselves. I believe classroom learning should be applicable in real life too. So, I always try to give my students ample opportunities to choose topics for discussions, write-ups, and even presentations. I make sure that these topics are aligned with the taught lessons and chosen carefully.

I specifically employ a well-thought-out vocabulary list, reading list, and writing samples so that students get a better learning environment. My long-term goal is to teach students to think critically, express themselves effortlessly, and develop a love for literature. I particularly utilize authentic materials, language games, and group & pair work, along with role reversal, from both the Communicative approach and the Comprehensive approach. I try to stick to the 80/20 rule (practice/instruction). This gives students time to practice and do better. To motivate my students daily, I use humor and personal experiences of failure. This helps them in releasing their fears and gives them the courage to go on. I teach school children, college students and sometimes adults too.
