About Amelia
I have several years of experience in tutoring children for exams, including preparatory entrance exams, GCSEs and A-Levels. Additionally, I have experience in proof-reading and improving concision of multiple personal statements, enabling successful applications to UK Russell Group Universities (including Oxford, Cambridge, UCL Medicine, LSE).
I have attained 9s in English Literature and English Language GCSEs and an A in A-Level English Literature (alongside three other essay-based subjects).

My teaching methods focus on improving the student's confidence in their abilities, as well as identifying and developing areas for them to work on. I also target an awareness of catering to a mark scheme, whilst encouraging of the individuality of the student's ideas.
My lessons average 1 hour, but are amenable to certain changes depending on the student's needs/preferences.
I welcome students of all ages and levels of education; I am also open to working with students for whom English is a second language.
