About Teri
I am a returning student to Grad school for my PhD in Linguistics and a mother of one pre-teen. My current goal is to teach English as a second language for adults in other countries, to lessen the burden on first born immigrant children. However, the true aim is to eat in different countries, but not without knowing the culture and speaking the language. I don't want to be disrespectful, but I do want your home recipes!

English is a hard subject to learn, whether it is your native language or you're learning it as your second/third (multi-lingual). As your tutor, the goal is to make sure you leave with the proper comprehension of your subject each session; with the ability to explain what you've learned simply to others. This will be a learning opportunity for us both as we explore the nuance of language. As your tutor, the goal is always your educational well-being, whether your competency level is middle school or high school. My teaching method is a routine break down: there is no question that exists as a bad question.
