Experienced Igbo Language Tutor | Native Speaker | Professional Linguist I am a qualified and experienced Igbo language tutor with over 8 years of teaching experience, both online and in-person. A native speaker from Abia State, Nigeria, I hold a B.A. in Linguistics/Igbo from the University of Lagos and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from the University of Ilorin. I am also a registered member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). I currently teach in a British-Nigerian curriculum school in Abuja and specialise in teaching Igbo language to all levels, from children to adult learners. My lessons are student-centred, engaging, and flexible—designed to suit your goals, whether you’re learning for cultural connection, academic success, or personal interest. Experienced Igbo Language, Linguistics & English Tutor – Native Speaker & Trained Educator Hello! My name is James, and I am a native Igbo speaker from Abia State, Nigeria, with a strong academic background in Linguistics and Education. I offer engaging and effective lessons in: • Igbo Language (Beginners to Advanced) • Linguistics Courses (Phonology, Syntax, Semantics, etc.) • English Language (for Beginners and Intermediate learners) With over 8 years of teaching experience, I’ve helped more than 200 students excel in their Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE), and supported over 50 families and adult learners in mastering conversational and academic Igbo. I also teach English as a second language, with a focus on building confidence in everyday use.
