About Shaye
I learned the game when I was about 5 years old - my grandpa and dad taught me. By the time I was 10 years old, my older brother taught me how to memorize the board and 'speed play'.
I play backgammon in my free time with my family, and I even taught my boyfriend how to play so he joins in on the fun too!

I can teach a complete beginner the fundamentals of the game, including board set up, how the chips move around the board, how play is initiated.
I can also help a more experienced player elevate their strategy, learn how to make calculated risks and betting against your opponent rolling a 6 or 7 - which points are more strategic to cover - when to leave a piece open - and even how / when to use the doubling cube!
