About Mac
I am deeply passionate about animals and the study of biology, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Melbourne. Tutoring is especially meaningful to me because I find great fulfillment in helping students achieve tangible improvements while fostering positive, supportive relationships with both students and their parents. I am committed to delivering real results through professionalism, dedication, and a genuine investment in each student’s progress. My approach to tutoring is straightforward, structured, and results-driven.
I focus on understanding each student’s learning style through behavioral analysis and by reviewing their current study methods, then tailoring strategies that strengthen their weaknesses and build effective study habits. This personalized methodology has consistently led to noticeable grade improvements within a few months.
Lessons typically run for 1.5 to 2 hours, with two sessions per week recommended to ensure continuity and steady progress.
I bring over five years of private tutoring experience, alongside long-term part-time roles at two tuition centers where I teach small classes of 5–10 students across Years 6–12. I have a strong track record of academic improvement and positive feedback from parents.
My lessons are primarily designed for students in Years 6–12, but I also offer support for selected university-level biology subjects and preparation for international examinations such as Cambridge O and A Levels.
