About Andie
I'm 27 years old., prior U. S. Air Force, and former elementary school teacher. I have a Master's in Education from GMU. My last position I worked for Loudoun County Public Schools as a Kindergarten and 5th grade teacher. Currently I am the Office Manager at Downtown Baltimore Child Care. I know a lot about education, BUT I feel like what makes teaching so enjoyable is making material relatable and matches your method of learning.

Math was so difficult for me as a child. I struggled so much and wish I had someone to explain things to me in a different way so my brain could understand. My lessons are all about simplifying the material and making connections to YOUR life. Once we are able to establish the basics, we start to make connections to the material and making meaning of it. No more "when will I ever use this?". I will show you exactly how it will be used in a fun and relatable way. We will take any subject one step at a time and build our knowledge. I can't wait to see what you accomplish!
