About Yekaterina
Hello! My name is Yekaterina, and I am a licensed educator experienced in teaching middle school and high school level grades. I have a Bachelors in Political Science and History, and a Master’s degree in Education where I did complete my studies with a 4.0 GPA. I am grateful to have been nominated as Teacher of the Year in my district several times. History, law, and government have been my passion since I was little, and I have always wanted to become an educator. I love my job, and it’s so rewarding getting to teach the future voices and leaders of tomorrow. My approach to teaching is simple and my goal is always the same, to meet the needs of students and make learning engaging. I use different methods to cater to the individual needs and interests of students.

As a licensed and experienced teacher specializing in history and government, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my lessons. I focus on building skillsets my students can use beyond my classroom. This includes contextualization, compare/contrast, cause/effect, and change and continuity over time. My approach is designed to be fun and engaging, ensuring that students remain interested and excited about learning. I am well versed in technology, and am skilled in different platforms to make lessons more engaging, as well as meet the individualized needs of my students. I take pride in tailoring my lessons to meet the unique needs of each student, providing a personalized learning experience that helps them grasp complex concepts more effectively.
