About Honey Lyka Jean

Hello! I’m Honey Lyka Jean, a Licensed Professional Teacher with a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics and experience tutoring elementary and junior high school students.

What makes me different is my personalized, student-centered approach. I do not use the same teaching method for everyone. I identify each student's learning needs, explain difficult concepts step by step, and create customized worksheets, reviewers, and practice tests based on their lessons and goals. I focus on helping students understand why an answer is correct, not just memorize solutions.

With my patience, dedication, and teaching experience, I create a supportive environment where students can ask questions, learn from mistakes, and progress at their own pace. I also monitor their understanding and adjust my strategies when they need additional guidance.

My goal is to help every learner improve academically, become a more independent problem-solver, and gain the confidence to face challenges. With me, tutoring is not just about getting the right answers—it's about building understanding, skills, and confidence that last.

About the lesson

Hello! I’m Honey Lyka Jean, a Licensed Professional Teacher with a degree in Secondary Education major in Mathematics and experience tutoring elementary and junior high school students.

My teaching approach begins by identifying each student's strengths, learning difficulties, and current level of understanding. I explain concepts step by step, demonstrate worked examples, and use visual aids and real-life situations to make lessons easier to understand. I then provide guided exercises, independent practice, and customized worksheets or reviewers to reinforce learning. I also check students' progress, correct misconceptions, and adjust my teaching strategies based on their needs.

I offer tutoring in Mathematics and other core subjects, including homework assistance and quiz and examination preparation. My goal is to help every student understand the lesson, think independently, and gain the confidence to succeed academically in a supportive and engaging learning environment.
