About Mawo

I'm Mawo, a licensed financial advisor and insurance broker based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I've been helping Canadian families with life insurance, critical illness coverage, and financial education since 2019, and I hold LLQP licenses in multiple provinces.

I got into this work because I believe everyone deserves to understand how insurance really works — not just memorize answers for an exam. When I'm not working with clients, I spend my time studying the industry and breaking down complex concepts into plain language, which is exactly what I bring to my tutoring.

I'm friendly, patient, and straightforward: if you're putting in the effort, I'll make sure you understand the material, not just pass the test.

About the lesson

I'm a licensed LLQP advisor with 7 years of real-world experience selling life insurance and critical illness coverage across Canada. My lessons focus on what actually trips people up on the exam: I break down each of the 4 LLQP modules — Ethics, Accident & Sickness, Life Insurance, and Segregated Funds — into plain language, then we drill practice questions together until the concepts stick.

A typical lesson starts with a quick review of where you're stuck, then targeted teaching on that module, ending with practice questions so you leave confident. What sets me apart: I'm not just teaching theory — I use these concepts with real clients every day, so I can explain not just what the right answer is, but why it matters in practice.

These lessons are for anyone preparing for the LLQP provincial exams in Canada, whether you're starting from scratch or retaking a module.
