About Christina
I have taught in public schools for thirteen years. I have taught grades 2-6, 12 years teaching reading. I have spent time studying small group instruction, better ways to teach reading, how to teach student to take a standardized test efficiently and in the most effective way possible. I have also completed training for teaching online and in w order to be the most effective teacher possible!

I love reading! I teach reading skills using novels which makes learning fun! My lessons can be used with most students 3-6th grade. I love using novels such as the Percy Jackson series and anything by Margaret Peterson Haddix. I use discussion questions, graphic organizers, and other assignments to help students learn and use the reading skills I want them to focus on!
