About Jessica

I am going into my ninth year of teaching. I have obtained my bachelor's, master's, and even my education specialist's degree. My master's and specialist's degree give me more insight into how to be a better teacher by using technology as a way to contribute to student success. I have many virtual tools that will be great to utilize when tutoring virtually and also ones that can be used at any time to help work towards goals and success. I am a single mom with two boys. My boys have always been encouraged to pursue their dreams and reach for the stars, and I like to encourage my students to do the same.

About the lesson

I am a licensed elementary teacher and middle school math endorsed and I am here to help you reach your academic goals so you can succeed. I have been teaching elementary for 8 years in all subject areas (math, reading, science, social studies). I have a lot of experience helping kids close gaps in reading, phonics, and math. I have been tutoring for many years both in person and virtually and I love what I do!

Perfect! She was so creative in making math fun for my daughter to learn and even brought extra supplies for us to use in between sessions. She also taught my husband and I games to play with her to help her enjoy learning!
