About Adil
I am a licensed civil engineer with a strong background in math, problem solving, and teaching. I studied civil engineering at Louisiana State University and previously taught engineering dynamics to college students as a supplemental instructor. I now use math regularly in my engineering career, which helps me explain concepts in a clear and practical way. My goal is to make students feel comfortable asking questions, build their confidence, and help them understand each topic step by step.

I tutor math for middle school and high school students who want clearer explanations, stronger problem-solving skills, and more confidence. My teaching method is patient and step-by-step: I first identify what the student is struggling with, explain the concept in simple terms, then work through practice problems together before having the student try independently. A typical lesson includes homework help, reviewing class material, test preparation, and focused practice on weak areas. As a licensed civil engineer, I use math every day and can explain how concepts apply in real life. My lessons are best for students needing support with pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, or general math skills.
