About Ludovic

I am an Oxford PhD researcher and UN consultant, graduate from Cambridge and KCL with 7 years/500 hours of experience mentoring A-level, IB, undergraduate and master's students. I specialise in Political Economy and International Relations, advising students on exam techniques, university applications, and balancing health and performance. Aside of academia, I have worked for several United Nations agencies and am President of an equine-assisted therapy NGO in Provence, France.

Having worked for 5 years as a tutor, I now focus on mentoring/coaching. By helping my students think strategically, all improved their exam results and the quality of their university applications, allowing them to accept offers from top universities including Oxford, St Andrews, and King's College London. I encourage my students to send me the topics they want to cover before we meet so that I can prepare the session.

Please contact me to schedule sessions. My timetable changes often hence I don't put all available times on my this site lesson calendar. I run the sessions mostly online except if you live in Oxford (I am sometimes away in Geneva or France for work too).

Perfect! The best Economics tutor for my son
We've tried several tutors for economics prior to contacting Ludovic. While they've tried their best, there has been no significant improvement above a single grade up from the 4 my son previously held.

Using his passion for economics and a both accessible and individualistic approach, Ludovic managed to inspire love for the subject in my son and drag him up to a level 6 in his final exams, securing him a high grade in the IB over only a few months prior to the actual exams. This meant all the difference in the world to him.

I would highly recommend this tutor to anyone who is approaching the end of their preparation period and wants to drastically improve their grade. Amazing work.

I taught Ludovic for four years, for the International IGCSE and the International Baccalauréat sequentially, while he was a pupil at Lycée Ombrosa in Lyon, France. From the outset he was invariably the best in the class. He always mastered the detail of the subjects well, and appreciated well the various methods required for historical exams. During his time on the IB programme, he showed himself to be a model historian, producing probably the best coursework I have ever seen from a student at that level, and doing extra independent reading and research around the topics we covered. I have no hesitation in recommending him.
