About Victoria

I’m a Level 5 TEFL-qualified English tutor with a strong background in academic and professional writing. I have experience with writing at college, university and business level, and I particularly enjoy helping people communicate their ideas more clearly and confidently.

I decided to teach English because I believe good communication can make a real difference to someone’s confidence, education and career. English can sometimes feel complicated, especially when it comes to grammar, academic writing or communicating professionally, and I enjoy making these areas easier to understand.

My teaching style is friendly, patient and practical. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, without feeling judged or pressured. Rather than simply correcting someone, I like to explain why something works and help them develop skills they can use independently in the future.

I’m particularly interested in helping adults and students with conversational English, written English, academic writing and Business English. I can also help people improve professional emails, reports, presentations and other forms of written communication.

Ultimately, I want my lessons to be useful and relevant to each individual. Whether someone wants to become more confident speaking English, improve their writing for university or communicate more professionally at work, I want to help them make genuine progress towards their goals.

Hi! I'm a Level 5 TEFL-qualified English tutor with experience in college, university and professional-level writing.

I offer friendly, practical and personalised English lessons for adults and students who want to improve their confidence and ability in written and spoken English.

I can help you with:

• General and conversational English
• Grammar, vocabulary and written English
• Academic writing skills
• Essay and assignment structure
• Clear and professional communication
• Business English
• Professional emails, reports and presentations
• Proofreading and understanding corrections to your writing
• English support for college and university students

My approach is supportive and practical. Rather than simply correcting mistakes, I aim to explain why something should be changed so that you can become a more confident and independent English user.

I can also tailor lessons around your own work or goals. For example, we can work on improving an essay, practising professional English, preparing a presentation or developing your everyday conversational skills.

I have a Level 5 TEFL qualification and experience working with writing at college, university and business level.

Online English tuition: £20 per hour
