About Akyiaa
I'm an A-level student who is also taking A-level Maths after the experience of taking GCSE Maths and GCSE Further Maths, both in which I achieved a grade 8, I am encouraged to make this process easier for my students. I am incredibly passionate about Maths and I love to support students who are struggling so they grow to enjoy the subject.

I use peer-to-peer teaching methods in order to build the confidence of the students I am tutoring. I also utilise the scaffolding teaching method during my lessons, which is essentially, me as the tutor demonstrating how to use a skill in Maths and then having my students attempt to use this skill as I walk them through the process. My lessons are specifically for students who are currently doing their GCSEs. I have some experience tutoring friends and classmates. My lessons are usually an hour long but I'm flexible for students who require longer.
