About Sumayah
I am a student in sixth form. I previously assisted a year 8 maths class so I have experience when it comes to helping children with maths. I achieved a grade 8 (A*) in GCSE maths, which allowed me to pick the subject for a levels.

It is very important for a child to be in a calm and caring environment when it comes to learning so I do my best to provide it. When it comes to the work, the best way I find kids learn is when firstly I go through a few questions based on the topic we are learning step by step. Then i choose a few questions for the student to lead me through so I understand their train of thought and correct them along the way through the question. Lastly, I would give a set of questions for the student to go through on their own and after they have finished I’ll correct them and go though them again if necessary.
