About Lauren
I am an A-level student studying biology, chemistry and maths, with an aspiration to study veterinary medicine at university. I have a passion for learning as well as teaching, and I am thoroughly enjoying my current studies. At GCSE, I really enjoyed all of my subjects and found it difficult to narrow my A-level choices down to only three. I am delighted that I still get to tutor in subjects that I am passionate about but not currently studying. I am from a big family (including pets) and have always enjoyed helping my younger siblings with their homework. One of my favourite hobbies is sport. I competed as part of an artistic swimming team for nine years, which has shown me the importance of communication, dedication and adaptability. These are traits which I bring to my tutoring.

I am a friendly, creative and motivating tutor with a flexible yet comprehensive approach to tutoring tailored to the specific needs of the student. I have thoroughly enjoyed tutoring GCSE English and maths for over two years as well as mentoring KS3 students at my school in maths. I am very passionate about science and am currently participating in a partnership with local primary schools to inspire the pupils with science. I am available to tutor at any level up to GCSE and can cover a wide range of subjects that I studied at GCSE. My lessons are usually one hour as I believe it is important to stay focused and make the most of the full session but I am fully able to adapt to the needs of the student.
