About Emily
I thoroughly enjoyed completing teaching and leadership courses and when I complete my A-levels this school year, I hope to study to become a teacher. Throughout school and college, I have picked up on unique or useful techniques that teachers have used. I would love to share methods that helped me to achieve highly with other students to ensure they can reach their full potential.

My lessons are aimed at KS2, KS3 and GCSE Science students. For GCSE, I studied the AQA exam board but I am happy to research and teach other exam boards. I offer lessons varying from 1-3 hours, which focus on understanding subject content and building exam skills. I also ensure students develop useful revision and learning strategies so they can begin to effectively study independently. I provide various learning resources and unique methods to learn and remember difficult content. Depending on a student’s needs, I am able to set independent homework tasks to complete outside of lessons.
I received 9s and a few 8s at GCSE so I apply my experiences and revision methods to the lessons. I’m now studying A-levels and have qualifications in maths teaching and leadership.
I make sure to spend time outside of lessons to prepare resources, study the content myself, and reflect on students’ needs and progress.
