About Husain
I’m a final-year A-Level student at Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School, where I study Maths, Physics and Computer Science and am currently predicted A grades in both Maths and Physics. I joined the school after completing my IGCSEs in the UAE, where I achieved strong, scholarship-qualifying grades.
I’m an active member of my school’s Engineering and Physics societies and have experience supporting other students academically. I’ve volunteered as a Maths tutor within school and have also provided one-to-one Maths tutoring to a KS5 student.
Having recently gone through many of the same topics and exams myself, I understand where students commonly struggle and how important clear explanations and good exam technique can be. I enjoy helping students build both their understanding and confidence, and I aim to make Maths and Physics feel much more approachable.

I’m currently in my final year of A-Levels and am predicted A grades in both Maths and Physics. My lessons will be tailored to each student, breaking difficult concepts down into clear, manageable steps. I’ll also place a strong focus on exam technique, including how to approach different question types, identify what examiners are looking for, show working effectively and avoid common mistakes. We’ll use past-paper questions to apply knowledge under exam-style conditions, helping students improve both their understanding and confidence going into exams.

Details
My standard rate is £18 per hour for one-to-one Maths or Physics tuition. Lessons are tailored to the student’s individual needs, whether that means strengthening difficult topics, working through exam-style questions or improving exam technique. I aim to keep lessons focused, supportive and good value, with preparation adapted to what each student needs to work on.
