About Miles
I have experience helping in GCSE Maths classes at Northampton School for Boys. I sat GCSE's in 2018 myself so understand exactly the nitty gritty stuff that examiners are looking for, where you loose marks and how to get them back.
Since then I have gone on to achieve an A* in A level Maths in 2019 and have been predicted A*'s for A Level Further Maths and Physics in 2020. I plan to go on to study Physics at Durham.

I am able to tutor GCSE standard students up to a Grade 9 in Maths, Physics and A** Further Maths.
I prefer to teach by going through a question that the student has already attempted and does not understand. I will break down the question into understandable chunks that the student can pick up easily.
The secondary way of teaching is to do questions together with my students allowing them to gradually gain knowledge. This is particularly useful in Maths where there are set methods to follow.
Finally, when you want to achieve high grades you need to know exactly what the examiners could ask you in order to make sure every mark in the paper is accessible. This is why I pride myself in keeping on top of specifications and relaying bits that are sometimes missed out in teaching to my students.
