About Lucy
I am a friendly tutor who will patiently help you through any difficulties that you may face inside or outside of school, I will never push you to do anything that you don't want to do and I will respect your boundaries. I am patient with my students and I provide them with step-by-step guides to how to structure and approach specific questions. Additionally, modelling with example paragraphs and mnemonics to help them memorise important information. Each lesson would last 1 hour and 15 minutes with 5 minutes with setting in the lesson and 5 minutes before and after each lesson to begin the lesson looking at the day's aims and objectives then later summarising the tasks completed. The hour would be used for activity work. After I have completed my GCSEs, I received a Grade 7 for both English literature and English language where just 4 months later, I began tutoring my younger relatives and friends. These lessons are targeted for secondary students Year 9 to Year 11, for students studying Macbeth and A Christmas Carol.
