About James
This is my first experience in Tutoring outside my own family and friends. I have an A in GCSE and awaiting As results from my first year of Maths Statistics at sixth form college. I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge and giving young students a love of the subject. I hope to offer alternative ways of working problems out.

I have recently finished my A-levels and have a desire to teach Mathematics at a secondary level. I plan to go to university in 2019 to study either Secondary Level Mathematics Teaching or Mathematics to then go into teaching and I look forward to tutoring to get more experience. I am very excited to help young students of any age with their Maths as I have helped my younger sister through her GCSEs. I would prefer to teach in person where I could use text books, past exam papers (best for GCSE students) and online resorces, for example mymaths. I would like to help young people who are transitioning between stages of learning (Primary to Secondary, Secondary to College). I have a great love of Maths and its patterns, with a enjoyment of problem solving and connecting maths to everyday life. I would like to help young people overcome issues they have with Maths while also giving some a love for the subject.
