Hi I'm Declan. I'm currently a 1st Year Philosophy student at King's College London on track to achieve a first. At A Level I was one of the top 100 highest scoring candidates in the country on the AQA Psychology new specification, and having sat the exam myself I feel I know it better than some teachers.
My teaching comes in two forms,
Teaching the specification - in which myself and the Tutee spend 2-3 hours a week learning the specification content as one would if taking it for GCSE or A Level, along with essay writing and study skills to maximise grades. This comes in the form of short 30 minute content lectures, followed by 30 minutes of essay skills linked to the preceding content - allowing the tutee to apply their knowledge in exam style questions and create model essays for every topic
Supplementing teaching - For those who are already being taught Psychology at GCSE or A Level at college/sixth form, I focus more on refining essay writing skills for 12 and 16 point questions and consolidating knowledge, usually 1-2 hours a week but more if necessary.
