About Maheen
I am a student at Royal Holloway university of London and my passion is psychology. I have work experience working in multiple schools, and I love working with people! I am timely, organised and focused. However I strongly believe learning should be fun and interactive. I will strive to make my lessons interesting and creative, to ensure you are getting the best possible chance at getting the best grade I know you can achieve!

My first teaching method is by explaining all concepts clearly, and in detail. I will answer any questions you may have during this period so I know you have understood perfectly.
Secondly, I will quiz you on the concepts. These won't take very long, it is purely for me to get to know how well you understood the topic. It will also help you, the student, identify gaps in knowledge. These 'topic quizzes' will be 5 minutes long maximum. Anything you get wrong is totally okay at this point! I am patient, and I will explain and re explain as many times as you need me to.
Lastly, the memorisation techniques come into play. I will guide you through these every step of the way...
- FLASH CARDS.
I've got them so you don't have to. I will quiz you until you've nailed it!
- BLURTING
The best technique, in my opinion, to learn information. I will help you do it effectively and in a time efficient manner so you don't waste time on unnecessary information.
- TEACH ME THE BLURT
Once you have mastered the art of blurting and have everything understood and, most importantly for exams, memorised; I will ask you about a topic and you will tell me everything you know. I will identify the gaps and we will work on them together.
