About Abhibhava

I'm a final-year Maths and Data Science student at the London School of Economics. I studied Maths, Physics, Computer Science and Chemistry at A-Level at St Paul's School, achieving an A* in Maths and A grades in the others, alongside an A* EPQ in electrical and systems engineering. Beyond the syllabus, I'm a two-time gold medallist in the National Physics Olympiad — exactly the kind of problem-solving that university entrance tests like the STEP, TMUA and ESAT reward — and I've completed Harvard's CS50 and an MIT mathematics course, coding regularly in Python, C, C++ and C#.
Having recently been through A-Levels and the UK university admissions process myself, I know where students get stuck and what top universities are really looking for. I love these subjects and get a genuine kick out of helping students build real confidence and aim high.

About the lesson

My focus is A-Level Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science, and preparing students for competitive university applications in these subjects. That covers the main UK admissions tests — STEP, TMUA, ESAT and the PAT — along with Oxbridge application strategy and mock interview practice.
Lessons run up to two hours and are tailored to the individual: building from the fundamentals where needed, then stretching stronger students with the harder, less predictable problems these tests are built around. Having recently sat A-Levels and applied to top UK universities myself, I can spot weak points fast and turn them into strengths.
I also tutor GCSE Maths and the sciences, and offer introductory university-level Maths, Statistics, Data Science and Programming for first-year students.
