About Cassia
I have experience in tutoring through teaching my fellow students GCSE Physics in my spare time, which helped them achieve the best grades they could, and also my home-schooled 12 year old brother. I was in the first year to sit the new style GCSEs and thus how to succeed is still fresh in my mind, as well as relevant to current students.

I believe students learn best by being allowed to think and discover for themselves with a mentor to provide materials and guide them along the right path, as opposed to the way most schools teach. Also I believe exam technique is extremely important, especially for GCSEs, so I make it a priority to make sure students know how to maximise their potential by showing the examiners their ability clearly and concisely. I also feel that it's important that students have a tutor that they can connect with and feel able to challenge when appropriate; asking questions and pointing out mistakes- even the tutors- aid learning greatly.
