About Emma
I’m a Cambridge Engineering graduate with a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Bristol.
I’m a patient and supportive tutor, and I enjoy finding creative ways to make difficult mathematical ideas feel intuitive. I work at the student’s pace and aim to build confidence alongside mathematical ability.
I believe students learn maths best by doing it themselves rather than being lectured. I encourage students to take the lead, while providing the guidance and challenge they need to progress.
