About Iris

Hi! I'm 18 years old and have just completed my A levels. I am currently taking a gap year before studying maths at university in 2026. I really enjoy the problem-solving nature of maths, and love exploring the different ways to solve and explain problems in a way that makes sense to different learners.

About the lesson

I've recently achieved 3 A*s in my A level maths, further maths and physics, as well as 9s in the same subjects at GCSE. I therefore have a strong understanding of the key content that must be understood for success, as well as the problem-solving skills that can be practised and built to really excel in these subjects. I would love to help you improve your understanding and grade, online or in person if you are local!

Iris is a highly talented mathematician whose deep understanding of concepts makes her an effective tutor. She explains concepts clearly, thoroughly and patiently, leaving tutees much more confident and with the means to approach problems themselves in the future. I couldn't recommend her more highly!
